Roquetas de Mar
... just 30 minutes south of Almeria Airport is the well established Spanish town of Roquetas de Mar, where visitors simply lose themselves in its wide streets and squares. The main attraction, however, is the calm clear waters of the Mediterranean, where waves break gently along the vast coastline and endless soft sandy beaches, broken up by a succession of coves and secluded spots.
All essential facilities are available here and there's a great choice of restaurants for your tapas snacks and evening meals ... and the prices are always very reasonable.

Aguadulce... Just 9 km from Almeria, is the old Spanish fishing village of Aguadulce. The origins of its name ("sweet water") refers to the many fresh water springs along the coast and in the sea itself. The climate of Aguadulce is particularly pleasant and mild throughout the entire year, due to the close proximity of the sea and the protection of the Sierra de Gador mountain range.

Mojacar... Just 90 km from Almeria town is Mojacar, steeped in Moorish history and one of the most beautiful, picturesque and fascinating parts of the entire coastline.
